This seminar series provides an introduction to significant forms of religion around the world, including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism. We will discuss how their adherents practice their faith and how the religion has adjusted to the American landscape. The course emphasizes how each religious path reflects contact with others, and in the midst of religious diversity we realize that the different religions have more in common than their followers sometimes think.
Each seminar will include a dynamic presentation and a lively discussion filled with information, pictures, music etc. Each is designed to motivate and inspire you to expand and deepen your understanding of world religions.
